Vendor Service Parking & Permit Issuance
Vendor service 4-hour (U) permits are issued to persons who provide service to a university department. The fee for a vendor service permit is $33/vehicle or $27 per vehicle for two or more vehicles, payable by cash or check. Applicants must fill out a vendor service application and, when possible, provide a business card to accompany the application. The application must be returned to 106 Spaulding on the UB North Campus, or 104 Harriman Hall on the South Campus.
If your "business" entails simple deliveries which take 20 minutes or less and the vehicle is marked with a logo, business design, dashboard card (all cards must be 81/2 x 11 and on record in the Parking and Transportation office) a vendor permit will not be required. If vehicles sit for periods of longer than 20 minutes without a vendor permit, they will be subject to ticketing and/or towing.
Vendor permits may be used in any Faculty/Staff or Student Lot (except in the Bonner lot and pay lots) and in service vehicle parking spaces on either of our campuses. Unless otherwise posted, vendor permits are valid for FOUR (4) hours in any "Service Vehicle Only" space. The permit is also valid for ONE (1) hour in areas marked "State Vehicles Only". No vehicles may park on lawn areas or utilize sidewalks. Call 645-7329 for additional information.
