Key Services

Parking Services
In order to make parking as equitable as possible, an effort is made to keep parking regulations reasonable and strictly enforced. We provide for the annual registration of all vehicles to be parked on University campuses through the issuance of hang tags.

Transportation Services

  • Inter- & Intra-Campus Transportation
Provides inter- and intra-campus busing to meet the transportation needs of students, faculty, and staff. Approximately 2.5 million riders utilize this service each year.
  • Parking Shuttle Service
Shuttle service provides a valuable and convenient alternative to parking, particularly when faculty/staff and student lots are congested. Convenient pick-up and drop-off service at major sites around the Academic Spine/Putnam Way are available.
  • Shuttle Services, Students with Disabilities
Shuttle service is provided in order to meet the inter- and intra-campus transportation needs of students with disabilities.

Information Centers
Information about campus parking, services, facilities, and University events and activities may be obtained from attendants staffing the University's Information Centers. The primary Information Center is located at the Fronczak Lot off White Road; its office hours are 7 am - 3 pm, Monday - Friday. The Fronczak and Michael-Farber Information Centers operate between the hours of 7 am - 3 pm, Monday - Friday.

Parking Ticket Appeal Process
A three-step review procedure is currently in place for responding to appeals regarding parking violations. The first step entails review of written statements from an appellant regarding the validity of a violation(s). The second step consists of an in-person hearing at which an appellant presents their questions regarding the validity of the ticket to a hearing officer hired from outside of the university. The third step is the review of the original appeal and the second step audiotape by a three member committee.

Special Event Parking
The Office coordinates the usage of parking facilities for various activities and special events.

Traffic Advisories
Information on accessing information on scheduled and emerging special events which impact traveling or parking on campus, road repairs/lot repairs, campus closures or early dismissals, and emergency notifications.
